hi guys.. I would like to share this with you. kasi hindi ko naman akalain na lalabas ito sa media.
anyway, I was currently having 2 weeks hospital rotation at San Lazaro Hospital where patients with contagious and infectious diseases are confined here. on my last day of duty, february 12, tinanong ako ng erpat ko kung saang hospital ako naka duty and I said SLH. Napanood niya sa news (TV Patrol) last feb.11 na may isang baby na iniwan sa SLH. actually, he's one of my patients that I have handled during my 2 weeks rotation (feb 4 & 5) and also, I defended a case study of his disease. Can't help it, pero, sobrang naawa ako sa baby na yun. andami niyang sakit according to his chart. he was diagnosed of having bacterial meningitis pero hindi pa dun nagtatapos ang sakit niya.. poor nutrition meaning, he shows the signs of having dehydration na rin. he was confined in SLH last dec 2009 pa. A security guard found him on a waiting area of this hospital and admitted this baby around 4pm. this little angel, 4 months old has weight of 4.14 kilograms only!!!! kung makikita niyo siya, he's not a premature baby pero ganun ang timbang. kaya rin ako naaawa sa baby kasi everytime he cries, you need to touch and caress him. currently, he was transferred to National Childrens Hospital to cure his secondary illness. wala ako masabi sa mother ng baby na nag iwan sa kanya pero bahala na siguro ang Diyos sa kanya. Kung marangya lang ang buhay ko, hindi rin siguro ako magdadalawang isip ampunin ito.
ang masasabi ko lang, Love your children. TAKE GOOD CARE on them lalo na't mga bata pa yan. Give them nutritious foods to increase their resistance against illness. Andaming sakit na pwedeng dumapo sa kanila since mababa pa lang ang immune system ng mga yan pati pain tolerance. hindi lahat ng sakit, nakukuha sa ANTIBIOTICS dahil bacteria ang target nila hindi virus!!!!! hindi rin basta basta pag bigay nito dahil depende sa klase ng bacteria ang dumapo sa sakit kaya posible hindi gumaling. ipa-konsulta niyo kaagad sa physician ASAP.. ok?
